The Great Court Gala
(This is a closed event and is not open to the general public).
Saturday 8 June
9:00 pm to 12:00 midnight
Swing music is featured center stage in Killian Court, piano music in the Bush Room, and disco music in Lobby 13, with refreshments at each venue
The MIT Ballroom Dance team is invited to the party kickoff! We will be doing a quick demonstration and dance with some of the attendees to help kickoff the dancing at this alumni event.
After President Vest welcomes members of the 50th reunion class to the ranks of Cardinal and Gray, the night kicks off to the sounds of Bob Bachelder and the Totem Pole Swing Orchestra in Killian Court. Members of the MIT Ballroom Dance Team, will be on hand to teach some quick and easy moves to participants in the gala!

Come, join us and learn to dance. We are offering a series of ballroom lessons over the summer to spread the joy that is dancing. The lessons are geared towards getting people dancing and learning about the MITBDT. No partner necessary. These lessons are part of our fall recruiting drive for new members, but there is no obligation to join.
