The MIT Ballroom Dance Team hosted a series of free beginner summer classes taught by members of the MIT Ballroom Dance Team. They were held from 7:30 to 10pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays this summer from June 8 until August 18 with a break the week of the Democratic National Convention (because of anticipated traffic issues). Classes were open to the general public.

The classes were one hour each and followed by a half hour practice session. Each dance was taught in a cycle of three classes. Although the classes were intended to build on each other, attendance for the previous classes in each cycle was not necessary.

Classes were held in the third floor lobby of Building 34 at MIT. Directions can be found here.
