Featured Performance and Lecture by Luca and Loraine Baricchi

The MIT Ballroom Dance Team will host a performance by legendary standard dancers Luca and Loraine Baricchi on Saturday, April 25th at 7pm in MIT's Rockwell Gym

Competitors will be able to purchase their show ticket with registration.

Students: $10 in advance, $15 at the door
Adults: $20 in advance, $25 at the door
VIP: $60 in advance, $65 at the door

Luca and Loraine Baricchi have awed audiences for over a decade with their unparalleled talent and passion for ballroom dance. While competing, the Baricchi's were World, European, British Open, International and UK Professional Champions. Their performance at the 2009 MIT Open will be be a landmark event in the competition's outstanding history.

VIP tickets are front row reserved seats, and are very limited. VIPs are also welcomed with a reception of light snacks and desserts.

General Admission tickets do not guarantee a seat, but there is plenty of standing room.

Students will need to show student IDs when picking up tickets at Will Call.

Remember, the rest of the competition is free for spectators. We will clear the ballroom prior to the performance by the Baricchi's, then allow readmission for individuals who have purchased show tickets. Following the show, all spectators are welcome back for the remaining competition events. (Good luck finding seats!)

We are proud to present a lecture with Luca and Lorraine Baricchi on Sunday, April 26, 2009 between 12:30pm - 1:30pm at the Hulziser room in Ashdown house on the MIT campus. Limited number of tickets can be purchased online or at the door if available.
